My Home Town

I love travelling to London, such a big city full of  fashion and inspiration. However with all the excitement of the capital Ive never actually looked around my home city of Manchester. So for my college brief on Architecture I decided to go into Manchester and look closely at the detail on different buildings. I found that the older buildings have beautiful and delicate detailing on them!

Contemporary signs outside The Printworks

Statue outside the Town Hall

Detailed doorway at The Town Hall

The Old Library.

Sidewalk at The old Library

Complicated detailing up the side of a building.

Entrance to the Library

Bringing a bit of London to Manchester with the red telephone box.

Amazing stairs at the Town Hall

The never ending corridors.

The historical Stained glass windows.

Pieces of wall art made from iron and copper

Mosaic's cover all the celing's.

Stairwell Banisters also made into a work of art.
